User page design

[edit]

You asked about user page design at the HD, so I thought you might be interested in The Transhumanist/User page design, which is a useful guide with a large and varied gallery. Also try WikiProject User Page Help. Regards, Adrian M. H. 13:34, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Complex cells

[edit]

I was wondering if you have any references you could add to the statements in Complex cell: "The difference between the receptive fields and there characteristics of simple and complex cells is the hierarchical convergent nature of visual processing. complex cells receive inputs from a number of simple cells. Their receptive field is therefore a summation and integration of the receptive fields of many input simple cells." If this was the case it doesn't seem like complex cells would be intermixed with simple cells, would they? Thanks! JonathanWilliford (talk) 18:50, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
