Missing author

[edit]

According to the Wiki entry for top selling authors Dean Koontz is by far the top-selling author of thrillers. I don't see him even mentioned in this article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.144.159.38 (talk) 21:55, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Villain

[edit]

The article says "A thriller is villain-driven plot". But what about thrillers where there are no villains such as The Hurt Locker?. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.35.34.13 (talk) 22:52, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WorldCat Genres

[edit]

Hello, I'm working with OCLC, and we are algorithmically generating data about different Genres, like notable Authors, Book, Movies, Subjects, Characters and Places. We have determined that this Wikipedia page has a close affintity to our detected Genere of suspense-films. It might be useful to look at [1] for more information. Thanks. "...with Marilyn Monroe as the trashy femme fatale who schemes to kill her unstable husband..." Trashy? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.190.73.210 (talk) 04:12, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Marilyn Monroe is trashy?

[edit]

"...with Marilyn Monroe as the trashy femme fatale who schemes to kill her unstable husband..." Calling her trashy seems a bit harsh. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.190.73.210 (talk) 04:15, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed wikipedia category: Telekinesis in Film

[edit]

Anyone have any thoughts on this? How does one actually create a category on here? --RThompson82 (talk) 03:05, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notable contributors to the thriller genre

[edit]

These lists are already quite long and growing regularly. I propose removing the list of novelists, as they are already in the List of thriller writers. I propose moving the list of film directors to a similar new article and linking to it. — Anita5192 (talk) 04:48, 19 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the section and moved the link, List of thriller writers, to the "See also" section. This section consisted entirely of a list of authors already in that list, and a list of directors of films that are in the article, List of thriller films, which is already linked from "Subgenres in film." — Anita5192 (talk) 18:18, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
