Triclosan Promotes Staphylococcus aureus Nasal Colonization

Flu season?

[edit]

"Notably, this was quickly followed by what the CDC classified as a high severity flu season." This does not seem "notable", or even relevant: flu is a viral disease, and triclosan is an antibacterial, so there is no reason to suppose any direct connection. The sentence seems to insinuate, without evidence, that U.S. government action exacerbated a disease outbreak. Myopic Bookworm (talk) 12:10, 12 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. I've just removed this sentence from the article. Daltob (talk) 22:35, 27 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation?

[edit]

Could somebody please show the pronunciation of triclosan? It's not even listed in dictionary.com. Bhami (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 02:52, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
