Classification of language

[edit]

How good are any of you Wikipedians at classifying the languages that use the Latin alphabet into 2 categories; those that recognize the ph spelling of Greek-based words with the f sound and those that don't?? (This question was brought to my attention when I saw someone edit NATO phonetic alphabet and Alfa.)

Those that do

[edit]
  • English
  • French
  • German

Those that don't

[edit]
  • Italian
  • Portuguese
  • Spanish

Public Holiday

[edit]

Hello,

I'm not an English native speaker and I just discovered PH could be the acronym for Public Holiday(s).

As it is not mentioned in the category "Other uses", do you believe we could add it? Cocolescargot (talk) 09:32, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
