Opening comment

[edit]

Is it worth noting that the "Virginia City" set of Bonanza was located near Lake Tahoe but miles from the actual Virginia City & bears only a very slight resemblance to it?

This is not one of the oldest cities west of the Mississippi

[edit]

This statement is so wrong its laughable. The article itself even admits that Virginia City was founded in 1859. There were plenty of other cities around much older than Virginia City. I'm going to delete this comment. Dr. Morbius 21:06, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Error on Climate Data

[edit]

CLimate data heading lists the name as Virginia City, California as opposed to Nevada. Going to fix it now

Racist behavior

[edit]

Today, Virginia City is growing in popularity because of a viral video on TikTok of Mr. Gary Miller talking about a hanging tree for a black gentleman. Following that incident, Gary Miller, his wife Janis Miller, and daughter Tiffany Miller were arrested. A Nov. 14 2024 pretrial conference is scheduled. 38.27.115.22 (talk) 19:11, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
