Welcome!

[edit]

Hi Duoraven, and a warm welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you have enjoyed editing as much as I did so far and decide to stay. Unfamiliar with the features and workings of Wikipedia? Don't fret! Be Bold! Here's some good links for your reference and that'll get you started in no time!

Most Wikipedians would prefer to just work on articles of their own interest. But if you have some free time to spare, here are some open tasks that you may want to help out :

  • RC Patrol - Keeping a lookout for vandalism.
  • Cleanup - Help make unreadable articles readable.
  • Requests - Wanted on WP, but hasn't been created.
  • Merge - Combining duplicate articles into one.
  • Wikiprojects - So many to join, so many to choose from...Take your pick!

Oh yes, don't forget to sign when you write on talk pages, simply type four tildes, like this: ~~~~. This will automatically add your name and the time after your comments. And finally, if you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Once again, welcome! =)

Another greeting

[edit]

Duoraven, thanks for the fixes on Deathstroke the Terminator and elsewhere. Your edit on Supergirl makes me think you should take a look at WP:NPOV; basically, just try to be neutral in your writing - stick to the facts. Finally, have you run into Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics? We'd love to have you. -leigh (φθόγγος) 04:10, Jan 9, 2005 (UTC)

Homicide

[edit]

Hello Duoraven

Nice articles on HLOTS charcaters. I have wikified some of them and created a new category Category:Homicide characters to gather them. Lvr 14:34, 21 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Childish Things has been proposed for deletion. Please review WP:V for relevant guidelines and improve the article if possible. NickelShoe 20:07, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not re-add an article that has been deleted as per the proper procedures. Elf-friend 09:03, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The best sentence

[edit]

I know this is a bit out of the blue, but I always liked a sentence you added to I've fallen and I can't get up, namely: "Roseanne once fell down and spoke the words". I really loved that sentence, and it's a real shame to see it go. Thank you for your wonderful sentence. Maerk 01:29, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced speculation

[edit]

Re: Abraham Lincoln assassination. Please don't add unsourced speculation to articles. Save that for e-mail or maybe talk pages. Any paragraph that begins with "some scholars say" may as well be waving a big red flag saying "delete me please." Rklawton 20:03, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article Qurac has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication this fictional location passes GNG/WP:NFICTION/WP:PLOT. Primary sources only, no real world significance, BEFORE fails to find anything that's not a plot summary.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. "Two Watchers" listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Two Watchers. Since you had some involvement with the Two Watchers redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. Hog Farm (talk) 20:30, 10 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
