Martin, I really look forward to seeing the stamp. I'm very happy you do not feel like to leave en.wikipedia, and I mean this very sincerely. Anyway, from all this I'm just more interested to learn more about Ladin and see how it relates with Nones, Romansch, etc. Apologies from me if we've had disagreements. I hope you could see some of points of view though on things. talk to you later, Taalo 16:45, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The point is, that the minor languages and dialects in Italy (except not italic languages) don't have the importance seen from outside, many people don't speak them anymore. And in Val di Non are many who declared to be Ladin for political reasons. And if it's not a version of Trentin dialect than it is a dialect of Ladin (with officially has 4 dialects: Gardeina, badiot, fassan and ampezzan). I understand a bit of the Gardeina-dialect (my grnadfathers dialect, when he was a child) and fassan, who has many Italian words Romansch is related to Ladin but not the same--Martin Se 16:58, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You know what, I'm not an expert on the languages, so I really don't know the sceince of how they classify things. I just know that Nones and the similar languages sound very nice to me and are quite fun. :} I did not know that some in Val di Non declared to be "Ladin", and it seems quite silly actually. That is why I was saying previously that everyone here is just "from the region" in my opinion. The language-based divisions don't make that much sense. talk to you more about all this later. my regards, Taalo 07:04, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

South Tyrol

[edit]

Grüezi, thank you for warning me, I voted for South Tyrol. Now I am going to see the other issue. Please keep into account that I do not visit English wikipedia so often, so, in case of urgence, please drop me a line at my Lombard page. I hope I did right, since the vote page is a bit complex. Uuf Wiederluege! --Clamengh 20:05, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

motion to close mediation

[edit]

hello there,

there was a mediation offer quite a while ago concerning the issue of Trentino-South Tyrol. I am happy to announce that the issue has been discussed, voted upon and settled. However the mediation offer still needs to be officially closed. Please take a minute to visit the page Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-10-20 Trentino-South Tyrol and put your signature at the bottom if you agree with the decision, thank you. sincerely Gryffindor 20:25, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • A very important note. This mediation offer concerned the greater overall naming convention to use in this region, not just the name of the region itself. We came up with a very good compromise for the regional name itself. I for one am still looking forward for Lar to help us out. Taalo 21:33, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Emes, I have added German Trient and Latin Tridentium. Yeah, does look more interesting this way. I assume Trento in Ladin is Trent? regards, Taalo 07:00, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

South Tyrol location

[edit]

Now that South Tyrol has been moved to Province of Bolzano-Bozen, if you care, please add your opinion on the future of South Tyrol here: Talk:Province_of_Bolzano-Bozen#Whither_South_Tyrol.3F. — AjaxSmack 00:50, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

hello there Emes, you once voted and showed interest on the topic of South Tyrol. Certain Italian users just can't seem to give the topic a rest and had the article moved with a sham vote to the Italian name. I am calling for that vote to be annulled or at least extended so that more can vote and the result be representative. Drop by the talk page or drop me a message if you would like to share your thoughts, I am interested in hearing from you. sincerely Gryffindor 04:15, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't login for more then 7 months, being bored with the behaviour, as long as both names are cited in the article and the other name is a redirect it’s OK for me --Martin Se (talk) 12:16, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK, you can restore it if it turns out not to be. 74.78.162.229 (talk) 22:44, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think that the Audience Figure existed, and won't restore de:Audienzfigur --Martin Se (talk) 09:36, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well you don't have to, I will (restore, as you say, the "lemma") if the german article is restored. The preponderance of the evidence at this point is that neither were the images doctored nor was Thyra perpetrating a hoax but as I am not a native speaker of Hochdeutsch, am not in Vienna, and do not have access to her print source, she will have to defend her article. I ain't History Detectives though so until somebody does the basic verification it will have to stand as is. Should be relatively easy to do though, Phillip isn't exactly an historical nobody. Unless Thyra, who obviously is an exemplary contributor to the de wiki, can be shown to have a habit of fraud/hoaxing, I think the operative principle here is called "best faith" (that and of course, as I said in my talk page, whatever powers of discernment one brings to the given facts). 74.78.162.229 (talk) 18:56, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Collegium Primae Philosophiae in Urbe has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While there are articles in many wiki-languages, there don't seem to be any other sources about this institution (looked for "Collegium PrimÆ PhilosophiÆ in urbe" and "Collegium Primae Philosophiae in Urbe"). Fails our notability rules.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Collegium Primae Philosophiae in Urbe requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.prima-philosophia.org/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
