I've discovered that there was a "Pat Martin" who served as a Winnipeg school trustee in the 1980s and 1990s, in the Norwood division. I can't find anything about this in "our" Pat Martin's biography, though. Does anyone know if these were the same person? CJCurrie 04:19, 25 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Weasel Words

[edit]

I'm sorry, but did Pat write this himself? "defeating popular Liberal maverick Kevin Lamoureux" ??? "defeating star Liberal candidate David Northcott" ??? "Martin is a clear, articulate speaker in the House of Commons, and is known as a solid constituency worker." Known by whom? Solid constituency worker who is the only candidate in the 2008 election my wife was unable to contact? I'm not going to edit this article, due to my personal dis-like of the man, but SOMEBODY better get the preening out of it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.126.163.20 (talk) 20:27, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unionist

[edit]

Is Unionist the best word to describe his occupation? I clicked on the link, the word had no relation to his labour work. Pete Peters 18:41, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
