Franklin

[edit]

According to the article, Baekeland emigrated to America "inspired by the autobiography of Benjamin Franklin". What is the source of this information? AFAIK, he went to New York on a fellowship and after a while decided to stay in the US. - Karl Stas 07:51, 22 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions for article expansion?

[edit]

I procured a copy of "Of Bicycles, Bakelites, and Bulbs" (source 8) for the purposes of verifying some info which cites it. I'm not quite done checking each citation, but while I have the book, are there any areas the article is currently lacking in that I should look for possible material to expand with? I know the book is fairly heavily cited in the article already, but I figured I should ask.Ithinkiplaygames (talk) 18:47, 9 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
