Jamestown Business College

Jamestown Business College (JBC) is a private for-profit college in Jamestown, New York. It was founded in 1886 and enrolled 287 students in fall 2022. The college offers a 2-year Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree, a 4-year Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) degree and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) Degree in partnership with Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.[1]

In February 2024, college officials announced that the college would no longer enroll new students and was beginning the process of shutting down. They cited "the college's size and the expanding government regulations" as reasons for the closure.[2] The college will officially close in February 2025 with accreditation officially ceasing at the end of March 2025.[3][4]
