The article states that Seven Bridges Road "was written by Steve Young in an arrangement created by Iain Matthews for his Valley Hi album in 1973"

Deacon Frey - lead and backing vocals

Deacon Frey sings less lead vocals compared to Vince Gill. Proof can be found here, the live album is basically the setlist mostly unchanged since they started again:
