FBO's professional journey commenced with an impressive tenure at SystemSpecs Limited, where he joined as a graduate trainee in 1998. Over the course of five years, he demonstrated exceptional prowess, rising through the ranks to become Senior Manager of International Sales by 2003.

This foundational experience honed his expertise in financial technology, human resources solutions, and international sales, laying the groundwork for his future endeavors.

Business

As a visionary entrepreneur, FBO has successfully founded and led several innovative ventures.

FBO is the Co-Founder of Knit Technologies Ltd, established in 2022. At the helm of this revolutionary organization, he has developed a cutting-edge event management platform, 'KNIT', which seamlessly integrates event planning with social networking. Under his leadership, Knit has achieved remarkable milestones, including over 6,000 downloads and 10,000 daily visits, solidifying its position as a leading market player.

In 2003, FBO co-founded MediaVision Limited, Nigeria's premier sports marketing and activations agency. With over two decades of experience, he has driven sustainable sports development in Nigeria, boosting employee productivity through innovative sports and corporate event activations. Notable projects include the GTB Lagos State Principals Cup, Nigeria Bankers Games, Nigeria Insurance Games, and Remita Corporate Champions Cup.

Additionally, FBO serves as Team Lead of the FBO Training & Research Centre, established in 2023. This centre is dedicated to "Shaping Africa's Future" through capacity building and training, focusing on empowering young people in Nigeria and Africa. His unique approach combines cutting-edge research with practical training, delivering essential knowledge and skills for transformative change.

Politics

FBO's public service experience is marked by significant contributions to education and empowerment.

From 2019 to 2023, FBO served as Senior Special Assistant on Education Interventions to the President of Nigeria. In this capacity, he designed and led the successful implementation of Project T-Max, a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) initiative. This project equipped over 15,000 participants across seven states with essential skills for economic sustainability, contributing to poverty alleviation for over 100 million Nigerians by 2030.

FBO also contributed to the facilitation and implementation of Generation Unlimited Nigeria (Gen U Nigeria), aimed at empowering 20 million young Nigerians through education, skills training, employment, entrepreneurship, and empowerment by 2030.

Previously, FBO served as Special Adviser on Education to the Governor of Lagos State from 2015 to 2019. He spearheaded the implementation of several award-winning human capacity development initiatives, including ReadySetWork, CodeLagos, and Eko Nke Koo (Lagos is Learning), enhancing educational standards and opportunities in Lagos State.

In 2022, he was appointed President of the Governing Board of the National Senior Secondary Education Commission (NSSEC) under the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja. Additionally, he served as an Advisory Group Member for the ICT Competency Framework for Teachers (CFT) at the National University Commission from 2022 to 2023.

FBO's past board memberships include Nigeria Academical Sports Committee (NASCOM) from 2012 to 2015 and Chairman of the Lagos State Chess Association from 2011 to 2015. He also participated in Technical Working Groups for the National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy (NPRGS), aiming to reduce unemployment and lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty by 2030.

As a shepherd of God's flock, FBO's pastoral role involves preaching and teaching the Gospel, leading worship services and prayer meetings, mentoring and discipling individuals, and providing pastoral care and counseling.
