Is there any relation of the name Salah-ad-Din to Saladin?

Very good observation: it seems to be exactly the same, just two different transcriptions of Arabic.

I removed the 'see also' link to sadaam hussein. He's not mentioned in this article, and salah ad din is not mentioned in his article. - Aaronwinborn 13:17, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
