Is it really written with a "ü"?? It seems odd for a French name. Where does this ü come from? Is Spanish-related? --Edcolins 11:01, Aug 22, 2004 (UTC)
- Normally, bienvenue is written without an umlaut. Strangely, though, it's spelled differently for this metro stop, which I had to verify myself. Maybe it's an older spelling. Nathan
- Got it.. It is named after Fulgence Bienvenüe. --Edcolins 19:41, Aug 23, 2004 (UTC)
