I would like to notify wikipedia that this scholar is also a very ultra-conservative religious fundamentalist whose interpretations are the same as the wahhabi school of thought. This fact should be mentioned in the article for balance.

The previous version of this article was copy-pasted from here without even editing sentences like "What the newspapers had to say... - new photographs added", or "The following audio file is…". I've removed the relevant section. A source's copyright notice is here and doesn't match the GFDL license, since the former doesn't allow commercial use, changes or translations, whilst the latter does.
