Is there actually any need for this category? Our map of Geography of Cambodia doesn't show any lakes other than the Tonle Sap, and I can't think of any others which we are likely to have articles on. Mark1 07:48, 29 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit]

Redundant: there is only one lake in Cambodia that we will ever have an article on. Mark1 04:58, 6 Jan 2005 (UTC)

  • keep Even if there is only one, it helps with category roll up. For example, Lakes of Cambodia should be parented to Cambodia and to Lakes by Country, without the category, you can't treat the Lakes by county correctly. Sortior 04:34, Jan 7, 2005 (UTC)
    • Well, it just means that not every lake will be categorised by country. The dubious worth of including every possible categorisation is not, IMHO, worth making our actual articles look silly. Mark1 05:01, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)
  • Why will Wikipedia only ever have an article on one lake in Cambodia? Surely there is more than one, and as more articles are created, less notable lakes are likely to be written about. Warofdreams 12:59, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)
  • Tentative Keep - I tend to agree with Warofdreams here - okay, so Tonle Sap is huge compared to Cambodia's other lakes, but that doesn't mean it's the only lake in the country. Grutness|hello? 13:12, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)
