Pylon award

[edit]

I'm moving this here until we get some more information about this. Was this an actual award given or an off-hand comment by a writer? Is there a list of these awards anywhere (I've searched online, and can't find any reference to it)? If this is real, then it needs a proper citation. Please read the top box on this page.

  • Recipient of the Sports Illustrated award for "Best Impersonation Of A Pylon" for his play during the 2005-2006 season as credited in the December 2006 year in review issue.

I was the person who put it in there, and as a former subscriber to Sports Illustrated, I can confirm it. They're not official 'awards' per se, but rather part of an amusing look back at the season. But it honestly did give him that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.236.47.69 (talk) 04:34, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Slap shot speed

[edit]

"Hardest Slap Shot was recorded in the 2004 skills competition with 115.5 MPH " an editor with a history of vandalism put this in. Someone who knows this fact may want to check if its right or not. --Xiahou 23:36, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

marriage

[edit]

intro lists him as divorced, angelica's entry lists them as married. do we have a confirmation for which is accurate? Childhoodtrauma (talk) 22:24, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

marriage question

[edit]

Along the same lines as the question above, Angelica's entry does still list them as married and it says in both entries that they reconciled and had their second child. Sheldon's entry goes on to say that they remain close friends... I'd imagine they do if they are still married. I'll try to confirm this one way or the other because the line about being close friends makes no sense if they are still married. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nose job (talkcontribs) 21:44, 22 November 2011 (UTC) He's deifinitely not married to Angelica Bridges and hasn't been for several years. He dates WWE Diva Kelly Kelly now. I've tried to edit this and provided sources but it still get's changed back. I expect better from Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.38.156.4 (talk) 16:57, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I found a reference to their divorce being in 2007. So I've updated the page with the reference. AuroraHcky (talk) 02:55, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New section on marriage

[edit]

This business with his marriage to Bridges has been a bone of contention in the article for quite some time. Unfortunately, whatever we seem to say never seems to be supported by sources. At the moment, the article says:

Souray is married to former Baywatch actress Angelica Bridges. The two were separated in 2006, but reconciled later. They have two daughters Valentina Raine and Scarlett Skye Souray.

There's only one source for this material: ESPN article from 2008.

The article doesn't support the source. First, it calls Bridges his ex-wife, yet we say they are married. Second, it says nothing about any separation or reconciliation. Third, although it does say that he and Bridges have two daughters, it doesn't say their names.

Based on this source, the only thing we could say would be something along the lines of "Souray was married to former Baywatch actress Angelica Bridges. They had two daughters. Sometime before 2008, they divorced."

I've removed the material completely a couple of times because I think to make it source-compliant (as above) is not very satisfying because there are too many holes. Unfortunately, an IP keeps putting it back in. What I'm going to do is to change it to the above wording. Then, any editors can express a preference for that wording or nothing at all. Or, if you can find a reliable source that gives more information (good luck), we can, of course, expand on it.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:06, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Divorce was incomplete..pending custody agreement between Angelica and Sheldon...They are still technically married. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.56.169.34 (talk) 01:45, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Anything we say in Wikipedia has to be reliably sourced and compliant to that source. Otherwise, we can't say it.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:47, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
