Merger proposal

[edit]

Discussion for the proposed merge with Plan of Iguala.
--Jerome Potts (talk) 12:49, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think it would be beneficial to have both these in the same place since they are so connected. It would be easy to do since the "Plan of Iguala" section is smaller and would be easy to add together with the "Treaty of Cordoba" as perhaps a subsection or key point.

The term "Plan of Iguala" is the better known one and the one more often used in textbooks and other history books. The Plan of Iguala lead to the Treaty of Córdoba. I also recommend that the Treaty of Córdoba be merged into the "Plan of Iguala" artice as a section, unless the later can be expanded to include the negotiations and how it led to the tempory government that ruled Mexico for a few months.
