p-type doping

p stands for....?

In the second paragraph it says "This type of doping agent is also known as acceptor material...", and then later in the third line of the third paragraph it says, "Such dopants are called acceptors." This seems repetitive to me. Atrytone 20:12, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest the merger of this article with N-type semiconductors, as they appear to be closely related, and are both a bit short on their own 193.60.83.241 (talk) 14:51, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disagree with the merger, this is a valid subarticle under Semiconductors, as are N-type, I-type and Acceptor. Also see linked discussion at Talk:N-type semiconductor. Chuckiesdad (talk) 05:30, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Disagree, "N and P type semiconductors" does not seem like a good encyclopedia topic. Pro crast in a tor (talk) 02:02, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
How about merging to "Semiconductor" and put all the theory together in one place? --Wtshymanski (talk) 15:13, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
