Age

[edit]

- Moved the discussion about age to the discussion page. K1Bond007 05:47, Jan 25, 2005 (UTC)

The IMDB lists her birthdate as November 11, 1966.

Which date is the correct one?

As this has reared its head again, I'll reinvigorate this conversation. IP's are claiming that her date of birth is 9th March, not 11th November. This may be correct, but at the moment it's merely unsourced changes to a BLP article. I accept that IMDB isn't the greatest source either, but it's better (sort of) than no source at all. Information wanted

[edit]

- The Article states that she "was married" (which means to me that she isnt anymore, for whatever reason); later on it states that she, her husband and the children live together (Which sounds to me like she still IS married) So, question is... Is she still married or not?

- Any evidence she may have had cosmetic surgery? Saw her recently on 'Waking the Dead' and it was difficult to see how she could have aged from her Indiana Jones days to now 'naturally'.

I was just wondering that. Look at her article photo, she looks like she has. Also, its not a good photo. :\ Maybe it could be replaced? --98.232.176.109 (talk) 17:35, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not unless you can find a free one. It is the only one we've got, and someone keeps removing it. —  Cargoking  talk  21:26, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi,

Alison has asked me to remove this photo. She would prefer if there was no photo if there are no alternatives.

Contact me if there are any problems etc.,

Removal of info & image by IP range

[edit]

I would like to request that the IP editor who keeps removing the info and image form this page explains why they are doing so.

I have not reverted the latest removal, as I am at 3RR - although as I'm convinced that it's the same editor IP-hopping, that puts you at 4RR.

Please comment.

Thanks. Chaheel Riens (talk) 12:48, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Photograph deletion

[edit]

Hi,

I've recently removed the photo of Alison off this page. She herself has asked me to remove the photo as she does not find it appropriate. She would love to have another photo, but would prefer to have no photo if thats not possible.

Feel free to contact me if there are any problems.

Then it would be nice it she could upload or donate another (nicer) photo at Wikimedia commons. The photo we are using here is from a flickr account, and it is the best we got; add to that it is free to be used as it has the appropriate license. Lectonar (talk) 15:00, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia would welcome a photograph she find less objectionable, provided she owns it. (Unfortunately she cannot provide an image that is copyrighted to someone else.) Please inform Ms Doody that she cannot simply delete content from the internet simply because she doesn't like it. Yes, even if it is a photograph of her. She doesn't own the photograph, nor does she own Wikipedia. Wikipedia is a better resource with an illustrative photograph of the people on it, and what's best for Wikipedia is more important that her personal desire, I'm afraid. I hope that clarifies why her frequent attempts at deleting the photograph have been unsuccessful. Simply provide an alternative that she's happy with.
