(from WP:RM)

For consistency with the naming convention for ships of navies that don't have an official ship prefix, as agreed at Wikipedia:Naming conventions (ships). Target has no significant history. Gdr 18:09, 2004 Nov 1 (UTC)

Captain?

[edit]

Who was her captain(s)?? Quite a career for a ship in wartime with no mention of who was her captain. 137.188.108.53 (talk) 18:26, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Still working on that. Tobida Kenjirō was her captain early on in the war, but he was eventually rotated. Micheal Harrens (talk) 03:14, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Permision to use YouTube as a source

[edit]

With my writings on Yukikaze's actual career mostly done, what I want to do now is discuss the ship's reputation in popular culture, such as discussion surrounding the ship and various movies and other media the ship has been featured in. I feel like YouTube videos about the ship, while not necessarily reliable about factual information surrounding Yukikaze (for the most part anyways), can be used as an amazing way to peak into opinions about the Yukikaze in pop culture and how fans of naval history view the lucky destroyer.
