First name

Guthrie's first name is Alfred not Arthur (Gale Literary Index, online; & the embedded link)

"sissy name"

Does someone have a source for the quote that Guthrie allegedly considered he had a sissy name, as the article claims? I think a reference would be appropriate, I am not sure how to add the source needed tag though.
