[edit]

I would gladly see some kind of cleanup on this list. There are real cognomina here, but also nomina gentis (names of families - Furius, Plautius, Volusenus and others) and even some names anglicized (Valerian vs. Valerianus, Valentinian instead of Valentinianus etc.). Some of others also seem a little suspicious - for example "Planta" (which means "Plant"). Quoting your sources, anyone? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.31.50.145 (talk) 19:25, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Musa

[edit]

This page links to the disambiguation page Musa, but I can't figure out the intended meaning.

I

[edit]

Is there any reason why letter I includes names starting I, K, L?

I'm going to start adding sources and filter out the false entries. Problem is the resulting article may be quite lengthy. Perhaps we should split it in several ones like the list of biblical names?-Daniel Robert Sum (talk) 11:19, 16 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
