System map

[edit]

Hi folks, I was browsing this article to check something and just noticed for the first time that it's one of the only articles on a rapid transit system anywhere in the world that doesn't have a system map anywhere in the article. Does a public domain map just not exist, or is there some other reason that it's omitted? -Rfwang4 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 10:37, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I didn’t see your comment until just now, but independently I made a system map — it’s now added to the article 😀 Feel free to modify! There’s no official one so I tried to optimize one from scratch. SiliconRed (he/him • talk) 22:16, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Metro Lines are now numbered

[edit]

Hello,

So, with the opening of REM and updating of info, STM has decided to officially add line numbers publicly for metro lines. As the link showshttps://www.stm.info/fr/infos/reseaux/metro

  • Ligne 1 - Verte
  • Ligne 2 - Orange
  • Ligne 4 - Jaune
  • Ligne 5 - Bleu

(No Ligne 3)

We would need to update quite a lot on Wikipedia to reflect this.

REM's line is also officially labelled "Ligne A". "REM de l'Est", the topic of the day for the past couple of years, will probably become "Ligne B".

Agree. Same for Exo commuter train lines; those have been updated with numbers as well, to lines 11 thru 15 Piper13 (talk) Piper13 (talk) 16:08, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

specify budgets for STM

[edit]

I see some parts where the budget was mentioned from certain time periods, but I don't see where it says both the total cost to date, as well as annual maintenance budget. not sure if those numbers are published though. maybe add debts and if the full amount has been paid off? Geographical map

[edit]

There are lots of maps of proposed plans and/or future extensions, but I don't see any in the article that represents the Métro as it currently exists, with the geographical location of stations. The only current "map" is just a list of stations in the infobox. 2600:1702:6D0:5160:61FB:F280:62D9:228B (talk) 18:29, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
