Architect

[edit]

Why is the architect "probably" Perrault? Is there a doubt? Wetman 00:07, 1 Feb 2004 (UTC)

So says my EB 2001 - don't know any more than that. Try posting on the Perrault page?Cutler 00:12, 1 Feb 2004 (UTC)

The Paris Observatory is not run by the French Academy of Sciences. It actually has a status close to that of a public university. David.Monniaux 06:27, 14 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Leap second addition

[edit]

The Paris Observatory tells the world every six months
whether to add or subtract a second from atomic clocks,
the standard for everyday timekeeping.

I think it is an important thing to be mentioned. 133.44.1.220 18:14, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

World's first Talking Clock.

[edit]

AKA

L'horloge parlante officielle française de l'Observatoire de Paris.
