Could someone explain exactly what a 'Diet' is in this context, please? Having realised it's not about weight loss, I don't want to add a European definition of Diet. DJ Clayworth 16:40, 20 Nov 2003 (UTC)

In Japan, the Diet is their legislature. I assume this is equivalent to the U.S. Library of Congress. (?) orthogonal 16:44, 20 Nov 2003 (UTC)

"the largest national library of Japan located in Tokyo": this can be read to mean it's Japan's largest nation library within Tokyo, implying that their are several such libraries in Tokyo, of which this one is the largest, and that there are other national libraries outsode Tokyo, which may be larger than this one. Unless that's really what is meant, I 'd suggest amending to: "the largest national library of Japan; it is located in Tokyo" orthogonal 19:21, 20 Nov 2003 (UTC)
