Newo Ikkin / Nikki Owen

[edit]

I do believe that on the Cobalt And Calcium boards, it was never decided if Nikki Owen actually WAS Claudios girlfriend. I think this should be ommited until the fact can be proven. Neverender 899 17:46, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Name Change

[edit]

The name has changed to "The Amory Wars."

Errata

[edit]

Upon reading the first page of the Apollo graphic novel I noticed that in the first panel, there is a grammar mistake. The word "it's" is used instead of the proper "its." The editor of the novel was Blaze James. Is this something worth mentioning here or not? I'm not sure if an errata section is something that a fanbase can undertake. (added 05.18.2006)

Miscellaneous

[edit]

Added a section for misc. knowledge. Parable 19:41, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Characters

[edit]

Divided the characters section up a bit better so it's a bit easier to read through. Parable 07:38, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Name: A Favor Of Three Evils

I edited the bios of alot of the characters. It should look alot better, hope you like it.

Vandalism

[edit]

some one is vandalising the page, so its apreciated if people keep an eye out and sort it out every so often =)

Name

[edit]

Does anyone know why it's called "The Bag On Line Adventures"? [[User:Lachatdelarue|Lachatdelarue (talk)]] 16:02, 18 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Not yet. - user:defunkt 06:39, 19 Jan 2005 (UTC)

The name of the shop where Claudio's girlfriend Nikki Owen worked in Paris when he was writing the album.

Getting kind of long

[edit]

Going to make separate articles for the SSTB and GA plot summaries.

Modifying Additional Info

[edit]

Some of the Additional Info was speculative at best, and a lot of it was included in the new section for IKSSE3 and the end of SSTB.

Important events known to be true but yet to have been communicated in graphic novel form:

  • Coheed and Cambria make it to Paris Earth and the Monstar is activated in Coheed. (included in SSTB summary)
  • Paris Earth is separated from the Keywork, and this separation is central to the storyline. (SSTB summary)
  • Both Coheed and Cambria are dead at the end of the first album. (SSTB summary)
  • Claudio falls asleep at the end of the first album and dreams the events of the first few tracks on the second album. (SSTB summary)
  • The planet Shylos Ten is "Silent Earth". (Evidence of this? I've only seen Shylos Ten mentioned as the "quiet" planet where the Red Army interrogates on the Evil Ink summary, and in the GA GN Claudio mentions that he has hoped his family is hiding out "on some colony on silent Earth". That doesnt establish Shylos as Silent Earth though.)
  • The second album centers mostly on Claudio and Chase, a young robot girl created by Jesse. (Included in IKSSE summary)
  • Ambellina is one of the Prise, as mentioned in "The Crowing", supposedly sent to become more human-like ("burn your wings and learn their letters") in order to help Claudio save Paris Earth and "watch over" him. (IKSSE summary and somewhat speculative right now without any comic book of those events to confirm. The interp is plausible but this article is about the comic series)
  • It is often debated over whether Al's spaceship is called The Velourium Camper or The Camper Velourium because of information on the CD, and in the lyrics. According to the track listing for In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, as well as the listing on CoheedandCambria.com, Al's ship is called The Camper Velourium. In Claudio's post on the official message board and in the Columbia reissue, however, it is referred to as The Velourium Camper. (Should there be a trivia section? I don't know what to do with this...oh and the link is bad now)

rumors/fact

[edit]

I agree that things CLaudio has revealed should be in a seperate section from the things that are speculation. I personally have not read anything about the story outside of these wiki-walls, so someone else will need to make the distiction. [[User:Lachatdelarue|Lachatdelarue (talk)]] 14:06, 20 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Name: A Favor Of Three Evils

I edited and updated alot of the random facts about the story. I'm well read, and know alot about the story, so it should look good.

Destroy the Prise?

[edit]

"The second CD concludes with a small group of individuals, including Claudio, headed for the home of the Prise. There is evidence Claudio wishes to destroy the Prise."

What is this evidence? I always figured Claudio was after the Mages, not the Prise, particularly because Ambellina herself is a Prise.

I wondered about this too. I'm going to delete it until someone can show me evidence.

Name: A Favor Of Three Evils

I don't see any evidence of this occuring, and from recent looks upon the story, that was false.

The rest of the story?

[edit]

Why is the story for Good Apollo Vol. 1 not here? Considering that ALL of the albums, and not just SSTB are part of The Bag On Line Adventures, and that Vol. 1 has been officially published for over two months now, it should be included. However, the SSTB portion may need to be shortened.

There is a "Good Apollo, Volume 1 story synopsis" on the Cobalt and Calcium forums: click here. It seems to be a reliable source... they're probably getting their summary straight from the novel.

I added my own summary. Feel free to edit anything you see thats inaccurate. (Its now in its own article)

WHAT SHOULD I CHECK OUT FIRST?

[edit]

Given that i am a nobie and have bearly heard Coheeed and Cambria online. I want to know in which other i should lisent/read the comics in. So i can look for them online and buy them.

--Start with The Second Stage Turbine Blade, there are two volumes out right now. However, this isn't really suitable for discussion here.

William

[edit]

Unless new information has been given out, there is no IRO-Bot named William. His name was a conjecture made by God Knows You've Lost (and I should know this, as I am him) on the cobaltandcalcium forums in an interpretation of the song In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3. If you wish to check, the thread was "A story so far..." and the post number is 307. Here's a link to the thread.

Before that post made on March 19, 2005, the boy had never been called William. Because of this, I am removing him from the character list (and I'll reread the article to see if he's referenced anywhere else). I DO, however, feel that the character I dubbed William is Sizer, so I will replace what's necessary with that name. I still hold that the boy from the beginning of the comic is important. I'm sort of ashamed, but kind of proud, that the theory became so popular it made it into Wikipedia, though.

Name: A Favor Of Three Evils

I added Will back to the characters, and also kept Sizer. I changed all the bios. You should find them suitable.

Wes Abbot isn't doing the comic any more

[edit]

I read on the Evil Ink My Space that Wes Abbot isnt goin to do SSTB comic anymore. Though this was only a post by someone so I have'nt changed it incase it isnt true. So can someone confirm this? - Mr.Warr

Merge

[edit]

I want to merge in the article The Amory Wars. I had tagged it for a delete, since it is essentially contentless, but an administrator removed the tag. Richardjames444 22:46, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If Claudio is really renaming the series The Amory Wars, I think we should merge this article into that one, instead. Or maybe just delete that article, and then do a name change. In any case, The Bag On Line Adventures and The Amory Wars seem to be two different names for the same thing, and we don't need both of them. I wouldn't be opposed to a merge or a deletion. --Wikivader 17:52, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think that the Amory Wars should be merged in. It may become the Star Wars like header, however, most fans believed the over all name to be the Bag On Line Adventures. The Amory Wars, however, is seemingly more in depth in the Coheed and Cambria story as well as the Keywork's VIPS. But, in other news, the Second Stage comics are done, Wes Abbot has quit due to the fact that the comic's were not being produced fast enough for the demand (this is mentioned in the Amory Wars issue #0).
