Just F.Y.I. - Supermac's isn't the largest Fast Food franchise in Ireland. According to their website, it's the largest indigenous fast food group, and they claim to have 50 outlets throughout Ireland.

McDonalds, on their website, claim to have 60 restaurants throughout Ireland. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AndrewH (talkcontribs) 16:19, 26 October 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Quote: "Supermac's receives a lot of bad press in Ireland - due to its roots in the Galway and Mayo areas ..." Does it? I've never seen any such culchie-bashing material, though I admit I don't live in Dublin 4. I've removed the sentence, due to lack of evidence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.71.109.194 (talkcontribs) 20:23, 6 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The food

[edit]

I removed following from food section. I assume it's tongue-in-cheek.

  • Also unafraid to try new things Supermacs have also pioneered such delicasies as the "curry & cheese chips" and the "garlic & cheese chips". The aforementioned foods are possibly the most effective "drunken hunger" suppressants known to mankind. --A bit iffy 13:53, 1 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Its entirely untrue anyway, Abrakebabra has far more effective reverse-soakage food in its range than Smacks has... --Kiand 20:28, 26 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Supermacs.png

[edit]

Image:Supermacs.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
