This image by an anonymous author is reputedly of the reclusive Vilna Gaon, and it can be found in some works about the Vilna Gaon that are nearly two hundred years old. It has been widely used in many Jewish religious and history books many times of the use, and itis highly unlikely that ther is an sort of modern day "copy right" over it. Therefore, after some consideration, the template {{Fairuseunsure}} (Template:Fairuseunsure --- See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use: "for when use of a unique image that would be public domain unless contended to be fair use depending upon if it is subject to copyright, but the copyright status cannot or is difficult to be determined.
