Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We're glad to have you here. Just wanted to let you know--the image you just uploaded appears to be from a copyrighted source. Please add source information by going to the image page (type Image:NAMEOFIMAGE in the text box) and editing it to add source information. If your image is in the public domain, or licenced under the GFDL, then it's OK to use; if not, you have to claim fair use, which may or may not stand up. See Wikipedia:Copyrights for details. Best wishes, and ask at Wikipedia:Help desk if you have any questions. Yours, [[User:Meelar|Meelar (talk)]]

Thanks very much for the prompt response on the source info. One further request: when you upload images you've taken in the future (as I hope you'll keep doing--they're excellent) please add this to the image page: {{GFDL}}, which expands to this. Thanks very much, it just makes it easier to sort our images. Yours, [[User:Meelar|Meelar (talk)]] 14:13, 2004 Aug 17 (UTC)

You put GNU FPL, in it GNU FDL? Thanks. Rich Farmbrough 18:34, 24 Sep 2004 (UTC)

File source problem with File:White-sands.01.vm.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:White-sands.01.vm.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --TheImaCow (talk) 06:36, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
